Other important points

Besides planets and houses, some other points are also important for personal horoscope analysis, out of which only a few of the most important ones are considered here: two Arabic Parts (the Part of Spirit and the Part of Fortune), the North Node, Culminating planet, Rising planet and planets in domicile.

The Part of Spirit
is an Arabic Part which is calculated from the positions of the Sun, the Moon and the Ascendant, using the formula: ASC + SUN - MOON = the Part of Spirit. It represents your spirit, the point in personal horoscope in which we somehow connect all the most influential elements of personal horoscope into a common denominator.

The Part of Fortune
is also an Arabic Part which is calculated from the positions of the Sun, the Moon and the Ascendant, using the formula: ASC + MOON - SUN = the Part of Fortune. It represents the lucky point in your personal horoscope where you can best use your natural abilities.

The North Node
is an apparent point in the sky where the Moon orbit and the ecliptic intersect. It represents things which you have to work on to exceed your karma – things and experiences which enable your personal growth and through which you can fulfill your natural abilities.

Culminating planet
is the one closest to the axis of the 10th house (MC). It was therefore highest in the sky at the moment of your birth and so defines what you strive for in life.

The Rising planet
is the one closest to the axis of the 1st house (ASC). It was therefore the eastern planet at the moment of your birth and symbolizes your natural abilities.

Domiciles
Planets that are in the sign or in the house, in which they rule, are in domicile. It is possible you have no such planet or you can have more. These planets have an even more emphasized influence in your personal horoscope.

pThe Part of Spirit in Libra p 13X38Y G

You often seem to find yourself in a dilemma, because you constantly weigh or decide between two options. You have a reconcilable and well-meaning spirit, so you mostly have a very good and mild influence on people (even if other most important positions show a somewhat different picture at first glance); everybody feels good in your company, because of your benevolence, sense of fairness and your need to deal with every subject by taking all sides into consideration. Although you sometimes consequently seem a bit opportunistic, you are basically just capable and ready to accept other people's views. Because of these characteristics, you do very well in life and mostly don't have major problems (unless some other very strong factor influences this).

oThe Part of Fortune in Aries o 12X42Y A

You have good instinct and you instinctively choose a path that enables you to have a happy and comfortable life, on the other hand you can repress many options and opportunities yourself with your over-impetuous and too-hasty actions that you take in this direction; because you instinctively feel that the chosen path is the right one, you are impatient in regards to the course of events and you tend to speed them up, by this you confuse the rhythm in which things should happen and with this jumping ahead of obligatory phases, you can waste many possibilities. Basically, you are focused on yourself and your actions are instinctive, this enables you to avoid numerous complicated situations and to always take good care of yourself.

mThe North Node in Scorpio m 13X23Y H

Because your North Node is in Scorpio, your South Node is in Taurus
You are usually a passionate, sensual and impetuous person, closeness and touch are very important to you. You often become very attached to people, but you may also be jealous and possessive. You like pleasures and secular things, what is tangible and what you can see are the only things that are real to you. You don't like giving in, you also often don't admit your mistakes, but you frequently can't even see them. You need to nurture a better contact with your inner world or with deeper layers of yourself, so that your inner strength won't be in your way, but will work for your benefit.

aSun as culminating planet a (1X56Y)

Because the Sun is your culminating planet, you radiate a lot of positive energy and are usually good-natured and kind, even if other factors in your horoscope don't otherwise emphasize this. You have pleasant character and behavior, so people like you very much. You have a positive attitude towards work and usually achieve success in business. You are attracted to politics and are interested in manifold areas, including sport, and you can also achieve good results in numerous of these areas.

eMars as rising planet e (11X18Y)

Because Mars is found eastern in your personal horoscope, you are dynamic and have exceptional strength and outstanding physical endurance. You are combative and impetuous and you usually fulfill what you set to do. Because you have so much energy, it is basically essential to direct you towards sport and similar activities already in childhood; but because of your restless energy, you are prone to injuries, also to headaches and high temperature. Perhaps your mother had a hard delivery with you or there were some health issues in pregnancy or during or after delivery; but because you are a born warrior with exceptional life energy and will, you always manage to have enough energy for self-renewal; it is only important that you beneficially direct and use excessive energy.
