The aspects

Important elements of every horoscope are also the aspects – they are angles which the planets and other important points form with each other.

Here, we consider six most important aspects: Conjunction (0 degrees), Sextile (60 degrees), Square (90 degrees), Trine (120 degrees), Inconjunction (150 degrees), Opposition (180 degrees).

The more accurate the angle between two planets is, the more important and influential is their relationship in your horoscope. When calculating the aspects, we also consider a certain deviation, which depends on the importance of the aspect and the planets involved (deviation can be anywhere from 5 to 10 degrees of the exact angle).

There are also many smaller aspects, which are only important, if they are very accurate (up to 1 degree) and they, of course, have smaller power or influence. They can be of help with a more detailed and deeper analysis or description of personal horoscope, but for now, we do not take them into consideration.

Sun conjunction Mercury a M c (5X11Y)

Conjunction is actually the only aspect which the Sun and Mercury can form, because the maximum distance between them is less than 30 degrees (and so less than one astrological sign). You are usually a dynamic, moveable and persuasive person and usually have good ability of speech and communication. You quickly make conclusions and connections (unless Mercury is in another bad aspect or goes retrograde) and you often also have a good nose for business, you also master the art of bluffing. You have a sharp and quick mind, sense of detail and you are cunning, although you are also often talented in languages, writing, music and art. You are very sociable, also easy going and adaptable, that is why you have many acquaintances and friends and people, as a rule, like you and often invite you places. You have an audacious, curious and youthful nature and often also looks.

You have a healthy attitude towards life and the world, also towards your responsibilities. You often also have sense of business and money. You understand hierarchy, you respect authority and usually have good relationships with authorities, that is why you can take good advantage of your possibilities and the numerous opportunities that come your way. Because you are not aggressive or inconsiderate in your progression, others, also co-workers, usually appreciate and respect you.

With such aspect, you are emotional, sensitive and compassionate. You have vivid imagination and strongly developed intuition which guides you through life. You are usually creative, are interested in art and are talented for art, you can be especially creative in painting and music, you are also interested in film and photography. You are pleasant and mild (if, of course, other stronger positions or aspects don't prevail) and people like you. You often bring a sort of freshness and colorless to a room. You are interested in psychology and esoterics, are attracted to everything which is mystical, mysterious. You have a very developed inner and dream world, into which you often withdraw to process current events.

You are usually active, enterprising and ambitious. You are decisive and know what you want, you also most often know how to find ways and paths to fulfill your goals as well. You understand hierarchy and respect authority. Reputation is important to you, you appreciate settled matters, tradition and history, are perceptive of novelties and new ways and paths. You always try to realize your ideas and plans and you often succeed in doing so, because besides persistency, you also have a good sense of time and course of things, of “right actions at the right time”.

You act quickly and impulsively and react quickly and tumultuously, you often take initiative in situations and with your energy also encourage others. You have an enormous amount of inner strength and energy and strong desires and appetites in all areas.

You are usually energetic, ambitious and enterprising, but not always patient and tactful enough, also not too understanding. You don't always have sense of individual levels of progression and also not of hierarchy. You don't like authorities too much and can be in bad relationships with them.

You are a decisive and dynamic person with enormous inner strength and energy. You have a restless, impulsive, fiery and passionate nature. You often have good motivational skills and encourage others with your energy and audaciousness. You are ambitious, combative and competitive, interested in sports and perhaps also involved in them. You quickly get upset and often react strongly and tumultuously, sometimes you are also troubled by injuries. Perhaps there is some special – and not too 'gentle' – circumstance concerning your birth (such as premature or difficult birth etc.) or the earliest period of your life.

You are often torn between tradition and history on one hand and progress and the modern on the other; between old and new; earthly and higher spheres. You are not too adaptable and not always modest and humble, but you are sometimes prone to opportunism or you distort truth or facts for the sake of a better position.

You need to nurture a more loving contact with yourself and being relaxed.

You are usually an extremely energetic and fiery, also original and self-willed person. You don't always acknowledge authorities and can be extremely stubborn and rebellious. If other positions and aspects indicate so, you can be too impetuous and even violent.
