The aspects

Important elements of every horoscope are also the aspects – they are angles which the planets and other important points form with each other.

Here, we consider six most important aspects: Conjunction (0 degrees), Sextile (60 degrees), Square (90 degrees), Trine (120 degrees), Inconjunction (150 degrees), Opposition (180 degrees).

The more accurate the angle between two planets is, the more important and influential is their relationship in your horoscope. When calculating the aspects, we also consider a certain deviation, which depends on the importance of the aspect and the planets involved (deviation can be anywhere from 5 to 10 degrees of the exact angle).

There are also many smaller aspects, which are only important, if they are very accurate (up to 1 degree) and they, of course, have smaller power or influence. They can be of help with a more detailed and deeper analysis or description of personal horoscope, but for now, we do not take them into consideration.

Sun conjunction Mercury a M c (5X10Y)

Conjunction is actually the only aspect which the Sun and Mercury can form, because the maximum distance between them is less than 30 degrees (and so less than one astrological sign). You are usually a dynamic, moveable and persuasive person and usually have good ability of speech and communication. You quickly make conclusions and connections (unless Mercury is in another bad aspect or goes retrograde) and you often also have a good nose for business, you also master the art of bluffing. You have a sharp and quick mind, sense of detail and you are cunning, although you are also often talented in languages, writing, music and art. You are very sociable, also easy going and adaptable, that is why you have many acquaintances and friends and people, as a rule, like you and often invite you places. You have an audacious, curious and youthful nature and often also looks.

You usually have a stubborn and ambitious nature. You sometimes seem a bit stiff, both in behavior and in perception, you prefer conservative to modern approach. Perhaps you had conservative up-bringing with powerful father or some other male influence. You are often driven by a certain inner dissatisfaction and the need for validation and establishment, sometimes also because you lacked love or security in youth. Because of this inner thrust, you are motivated and persistent and you often also achieve success, although you progress slowly.

You are usually open, dynamic and sociable. You associate with the most different of people, also with special ˝characters˝, you often yield to your impulses. You are resourceful, clever, inventive and original. Because of this, you are interesting and attractive to others and they like being in your company. You can often benefit from other people, sometimes in a sudden or unusual way or from unexpected direction.

You are usually emotional, sensitive and compassionate and have strong intuition, but you often mistake it for fear and find it hard to harmonize your imaginary world, rich inner experiences and emotions with reality or everyday life. It is very important for you that you express creatively in some artistic area (e.g. painting or music) and also to learn being grounded and to have contact with earth, also in physical sense (working outdoors, etc.).

You have enormous amount of inner strength and energy, but you often take advantage of and direct it into appropriate action with difficulty (unless other positions or aspects don't ease this). You are usually impulsive and competitive and sometimes prone to arguing, that is why you need to learn patience, tolerance and adaptation. You are often interested in sports and martial arts and this is also very advisable for you, especially if it also includes spiritual fulfillment.

With such an aspect in your natal chart, you are usually dynamic, energetic and also restless. You are impetuous, competitive, brave and audacious and enthusiastically (and often successfully) tackle all tasks and also your numerous and ambitious plans. However, you often harmonize all sides of your personality with difficulty and sometimes you, at the cost of one side, neglect the other sides. You often show a different image of yourself, which is different from who you really are. You like it when others notice you and have a need for being recognized, making a good impression on others is very important to you. Sometimes you are prone to snobbism.

The Sun which appears ˝highest˝ in the sky and which is also in conjunction with the axis of the 10th house (MC), actually has a similar influence as when it appears in Ascendant, but it influences you once your personality is already shaped and not so much the characteristics given to you at birth (which is the case with the Ascendant). Its influence is perhaps also not so visible in a physical sense (as in conjunctions with the Ascendant), so it perhaps doesn't influence your looks so much, but more what you radiate and your entire personality, which you build in life, which is tightly connected to the profession you do or the area in which you create. However, the Sun in this position often also influences your looks. You are well-natured and hearty, both in your feats and in leader position, which is not rare, because you often have leadership abilities and are also ambitious and people like and appreciate you because of your positive orientation and energy. You are successful in many professions and you act in manifold areas, most often in such which are in some way or another connected to the public.

You make a lot of acquaintances, who can often be of some use to you.

You have enormous supply of inner strength and energy and you learn throughout your life how to positively and usefully direct them and take advantage of them, because you are usually very impulsive and impetuous. Sometimes, you even tend to be violent. You are responsive and fast, dynamic and flexible, also restless and often also nervous (especially if other aspects or positions also influence this), that is why it is necessary for you to get involved in some activity. Sport is very appropriate and advisable for you, you are interested and often involved in it. Dancing and all moving activities in general are also appropriate for you.

You have vivid imagination and strong intuition, but because you are sensitive (also to critique and opinions of others), you often withdraw into your dream world and solitude and take on the role of victim, instead of managing to use these potentials and to fulfill many of your plans, which because of this often fall through. Although you have a lot of thinking energy and a perspicacious nature, you often don't distinguish between what is important and what is useless, so you can be inspecting some completely meaningless and unnecessary things, as if under a microscope.
