The aspects

Important elements of every horoscope are also the aspects – they are angles which the planets and other important points form with each other.

Here, we consider six most important aspects: Conjunction (0 degrees), Sextile (60 degrees), Square (90 degrees), Trine (120 degrees), Inconjunction (150 degrees), Opposition (180 degrees).

The more accurate the angle between two planets is, the more important and influential is their relationship in your horoscope. When calculating the aspects, we also consider a certain deviation, which depends on the importance of the aspect and the planets involved (deviation can be anywhere from 5 to 10 degrees of the exact angle).

There are also many smaller aspects, which are only important, if they are very accurate (up to 1 degree) and they, of course, have smaller power or influence. They can be of help with a more detailed and deeper analysis or description of personal horoscope, but for now, we do not take them into consideration.

Sun conjunction Mercury a M c (2X21Y)

Conjunction is actually the only aspect which the Sun and Mercury can form, because the maximum distance between them is less than 30 degrees (and so less than one astrological sign). You are usually a dynamic, moveable and persuasive person and usually have good ability of speech and communication. You quickly make conclusions and connections (unless Mercury is in another bad aspect or goes retrograde) and you often also have a good nose for business, you also master the art of bluffing. You have a sharp and quick mind, sense of detail and you are cunning, although you are also often talented in languages, writing, music and art. You are very sociable, also easy going and adaptable, that is why you have many acquaintances and friends and people, as a rule, like you and often invite you places. You have an audacious, curious and youthful nature and often also looks.

Sun opposition Mars a R e (-1X37Y)

With such aspect, you have enormous amount of strength and energy, but you sometimes use and direct it destructively, also self-destructively. You are dynamic and fast, yet also impetuous and impatient – if things don't go as planned, you quickly get upset and you have a low tolerance threshold. You are strict and demanding towards yourself and others. You demand constant action and quick progress in everything you do, so others may find you difficult on one hand, on the other you can also encourage them with your energy. Sometimes people find you inconsiderate, because you don't have much understanding of others, mostly of people's weaknesses. You often find yourself in leading positions. You are interested in sport and are most probably also involved in it, but you need to watch out for injuries, since you can be prone to them.

With such aspect, you are usually calm and reserved, yet friendly and polite. You usually have nice manners, you respect tradition and values, you are interested in history and origins of all things. You are often very methodical and systematic. You have healthy and realistic plans and goals, which you fulfill or get closer to gradually, without haste and impatience (if, of course, other positions or aspects don't have a different and stronger influence). Because you are respectful, organized and have good working habits, co-workers and bosses like you. You are reasonable and reconcilable and usually also have good diplomatic abilities.

You are usually torn between being here/inside and being elsewhere/outside, between emotions and reason, your specter of emotions and comprehension of them is enormous. Yet you don't always find the right way to express it, so your ideas, although innovative and progressive an also well-intentioned, often shock others and don't always get the wanted response. It is important you nurture compassion and being grounded.

You are very sensitive and emotional. You have vivid imagination and like to indulge in daydreaming, sometimes you are prone to laziness, that is why you don't always take advantage of your potentials. When problems occur, you often withdraw into your own world and sometimes don't want to face reality. You don't see others completely clearly nor yourself in relationships with them, that is why you need a lot of time for yourself to process emotional impressions. You need mild encouragement and guidance, you don't take criticism well. Sometimes you are prone to addictions (especially if other aspects and positions also indicate this). You have strongly developed intuition and sense of people, which serves you well everywhere, also in business. Because you have a sense of hierarchy and you respect knowledge and authority, you usually cooperate with others well and successfully (if, of course, some other position or aspect doesn't prevail). You often work in commerce, marketing, etc., you can also be successful in culture and art.

You are often active and enterprising, fast, also jerky, restless and nervous, an opposition person so to speak. You are direct and always say what you think. You can behave abruptly, also cynically, you have a big mouth and are argumentative, you often get mad and complain. You love action and constant happening, but you don't always have sense of timing, you often react too quickly and can attract unpleasant circumstances and situations, because of your irritable and restless energy. You need to nurture tolerance and patience.

You are usually active, enterprising and ambitious. You are decisive and know what you want, you also most often know how to find ways and paths to fulfill your goals as well. You understand hierarchy and respect authority. Reputation is important to you, you appreciate settled matters, tradition and history, are perceptive of novelties and new ways and paths. You always try to realize your ideas and plans and you often succeed in doing so, because besides persistency, you also have a good sense of time and course of things, of “right actions at the right time”.

You are often a somehow double person and you are torn between softness and sentimentality on one hand and decisiveness, hardness and activeness on the other; you have difficulty harmonizing your female and male part of personality, which you also pass on to your relationships, which are sometimes difficult because of this. You are passionate, fiery and also creative, but you sometimes have difficulty finding an outlet to release these potentials.

You want love and understanding and so you perhaps see a mirror in everyone, but you place too much importance in everything and too quickly identify with others and perhaps spend a lot of time searching for yourself through all sorts of contacts and relationships, until you find the right environment or conditions for your growth and calming down. You are usually a very hard-working, determined, capable, persistent, methodical, organized, reliable and disciplined person, with good strategic abilities and a very enterprising and ambitious character. You are prepared to make many sacrifices on the road to success. You usually have realistic views and goals, and at the same time also a sense of business, that is why you often ensure yourself a good material position and reputation in life and can achieve great success. Often, however, you put all your energy into business and career, while your other relationships suffer and you can't attain true emotional fulfillment (if other positions or aspects don't oppose this).

You are restless and changeable, individualistic, stubborn and rebellious; you often have a unique nature and don't adapt well to preordained paths and existing standards, but you often introduce your own ways and approaches which others perhaps find unacceptable. Also, your character is too fast for most people and they can't keep up with you and so you are often also misunderstood. However, they also listen to you, because of your exciting energy, inventiveness and fresh approach, if only you persist long enough and if you learn to present your ideas and thoughts in a comprehensive way.

You are emotional and intuitive and have enormous strength which you draw from your inner world and also a good ability of emotional renewal. You are creative and inventive and take advantage of your intellectual gifts and abilities well.
