Mercury in Taurus

Besides the Sun and the Moon there are four planets that are very important for personal horoscope analysis and define individual parts of your personality: Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter.

Mercury is the planet, nearest to the Sun and it travels the fastest. That is why it is a very important personal planet, which influences communication, education, relationships, skillfulness and resourcefulness. Mercury also symbolizes transport and travels, especially short ones.

The position of Mercury in personal horoscope tells us how you think, how you communicate with the outer world and generally describes all the things that occupy your mind.

You are stubborn, you always thoroughly examine and consider everything before you decide to act. Things need to be orderly and in their place. You love money, benefits and comforts that money can offer and are cautious with money, but not stingy. You have a talent for accumulating material wealth and also a talent for all things, connected with money in general. You are not enthusiastic about new ideas and need a lot of time to adapt to them. But when you do start doing things or when you finally get excited about something, nothing will stop you from doing it.

You are decisive, perspicacious and energetic, you have a strongly working mind and endless mental capacity, but you can be prone to being cynical, too critical and judgmental. You take good advantage of intelligence and perspicaciousness, but you can be cold and impersonal in doing so, also cruel and manipulative. You “protect” by “stinging” in advance. You often oppose to something or someone, you get upset often and know how things should be happening, but with you this often stays at a thinking and verbal level. You need to nurture tolerance and acceptance.

Mercury square Ascendant c O q (-5X27Y)

You are restless, nervous and always active; both intellectually and literally you are constantly in motion, but it is not always fluent and flexible. You can have a moody and dispersed, also too quick and jerky nature. You love company and are always in the midst of the happening, but you are also not always the most sociable and accessible person, you also often avoid more in-depth contacts. You sometimes have problems expressing yourself, usually because of numerous baffling thoughts and then you can't express your point. It is advisable that you write (or create in similar areas), even if merely for yourself, so that you can “pour your thoughts onto paper” and learn to articulate your thoughts, also make a selection between useful and useless information.
