Mercury in Capricorn

Besides the Sun and the Moon there are four planets that are very important for personal horoscope analysis and define individual parts of your personality: Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter.

Mercury is the planet, nearest to the Sun and it travels the fastest. That is why it is a very important personal planet, which influences communication, education, relationships, skillfulness and resourcefulness. Mercury also symbolizes transport and travels, especially short ones.

The position of Mercury in personal horoscope tells us how you think, how you communicate with the outer world and generally describes all the things that occupy your mind.

You are a serious, cautious and responsible person who rarely strives for being in the forefront. You have good organizational, strategic and analytical abilities and do everything with care, step by step and with persistence – you fulfill your goals. You are very ambitious, you respect authority (you will also once become an authority) and knowledge. However, you can experience some difficulties with education at a certain point in your life, because you accept, comprehend and adopt other systems of learning and acting with difficulty – you basically have a quite nonconformist character and work best and easiest by following your own carefully elaborated systems.

You are a very creative person, of dramatic character and vivid imagination, you also have good organizational or pedagogical skills. You do very well in artistic professions, in film, on stage and in show business; amidst directors and actors. Because of your energetic approach, convincing way of expression and popularity, you have good pedagogical skills.

Mercury inconjunct Mars c Q e (-3X34Y)

You have a restless spirit, you are prone to being nervous and irritable and are not always the most coordinated person. Sometimes you act too fast and too enthusiastically, sometimes you indulge in laziness or passiveness; you can have a big mouth and argue, or also behave uninterested and dim. In your mind, you can have realized fantastic plans and inventive ways, but you disable them or make paths to fulfill them harder with your thoughtless or senseless actions.

Mercury inconjunct Uranus c Q h (-4X32Y)

You are usually a clever person and have a very active mind, but sometimes you find it difficult to find the appropriate ways to exploit this potential. Perhaps you are completely enthusiastic about something and invest all your energy into it or your interest is slapdash and dispersed to many areas. You often “search for yourself” and don't find true interest and work “a little bit here, a little bit there”. You sometimes feel misunderstood and because of it, different from other people and although you are sociable, you don't fit in at once and in every company.

Mercury square Neptune c O i (5X22Y)

You are restless, sensitive and often quickly change your mood. You are moody, you often seem dispersed and unorganized, that is why you seem confused and chaotic on the outside. You have a very vivid imagination and strong intuition, which you don't always take advantage of well or do it in the “wrong” way.

Mercury inconjunct Pluto c Q j (1X49Y)

You are usually intelligent and insightful, you intuitively perceive the essence of the situation, but despite this you don't act and judge best in these situations, because you too often make conclusions based only on yourself and don't consider other circumstances and don't always adapt to them well. Although you have a lot of thinking energy and a perspicacious nature, you often don't distinguish between what is important and what is useless, so you can be inspecting some completely meaningless and unnecessary things, as if under a microscope.
